The opportunity to be a part of the Talon staff this year was a pleasant surprise for me, having not been in journalism before. But it was last year, while in the advanced media class, that I re-discovered the human spirit through journalism, or videojournalism, rather. This year I hope to bring a new dimension to the experience of high school news through enticing and captivating visuals made possible by nothing but the faces of Sandra Day O’Connor High School.
