On March 6th, 2026, Harry Styles released his fourth studio album titled Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The album features 12 tracks for a total run time of 42 minutes. This is the first album that Styles has released since his previous, Harry’s House, in 2022.
Prior to the release of the album, controversy arose due to the announcement of Styles’ tour dates. Instead of going to multiple cities, Styles is only going to seven and spending multiple nights in each. What caused fans’ outrage, however, was his residency in New York, where he will be for 30 nights. Many fans were disappointed that he would not be visiting other places, although some hold out hope he will announce more dates further down the road.
The first track that fans heard from the album was “Aperture,” released on January 23rd, 2026. “Aperture” entered the UK charts at #1, becoming his third song to do so. Upon first listening, fans said they felt as though the album would have more of a ‘techno’ theme, noting that the sound was different from any prior music Styles had released. Like other songs off the new album, “Aperture” explores feelings of vulnerability and focuses on “letting light” into one’s life.
“Coming Up Roses” is another popular track, and the ending was leaked just days before the album came out. Originally intended to be a Christmas song, the idea was abandoned after just two lines, when Styles realized he had other directions he wanted to take. Viewed by many fans as a love song due to the repetition of the lyrics “it’s only me and you,” the song actually delves into an extremely complex dynamic. The idea of loving someone for the time being is presented, even when the relationship is a temporary one.
The most-streamed song on the album is “American Girls,” which has close to 100 million listens at the time of this article being written. “American Girls” brings fans into the famous side of Styles’ life, and is about how no matter where he goes in the world, his friends are in love with American girls. Mentioning how he is “in stages all over the world,” his friends will always be drawn to the American girls. Some fans speculate whether or not this is somewhat of a jab, due to many non-American fans being upset with how many cities he tours in the United States compared to the rest of the world.
Overall, Harry Styles produced an extremely well-curated album that is already topping the charts for good reason. Different tracks on the record provide something for everyone, and while it is different from some of his previous works, it has been extremely well-received by fans and non-fans alike.
