Victoria Kirova is a senior at Sandra Day O’Connor and she is excited for her responsibilities as Copy Chief. She decided to join The Talon because of her passion for providing a platform through her writing, allowing an assortment of voices to shine through. With a desire to promote collaboration, she credits The Talon for her ability to brainstorm, edit, and design among a team of motivated individuals. This year she hopes to improve her competencies, exploring new ideas and perspectives, while also taking photographs that capture the emotion in a moment. Outside of writing, she enjoys volunteering at local libraries, playing pickleball with friends, and exploring hidden gems in her hometown.
Brooklyn Smith
Brooklyn Smith, Editorial Chief
Brooklyn Smith is a senior at Sandra Day O’Connor.  This is her first year on The Talon, as well as her first year on the staff as Editorial Chief and Opinions Editor.  She chose to join The Talon because of her love of all things writing, as well as her interest in school events and activities.  This year she hopes to learn new photography techniques and gain more insight into the world of journalism, both inside and outside of school.  In addition to The Talon, Brooklyn is involved in Spanish Club and NHS on campus.  She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends in her free time.
