“I think it was quarantine. Right before [quarantine], in eighth grade, I just didn’t talk to anyone; I was super shy. But then once that happened, I realized how much I crave social interaction and how much I enjoyed it actually. So then freshman year when we came back from online, I was talking to new people and it made me feel good,” said Alison Paulos, sophomore.
