The blood drive will be held in the gym on Tuesday Nov. 26, with donor permit due to room 426 by Friday Nov. 22.
According to the STUGO members, potential donors might be worried about the safety of the process, but they shouldn’t be.
The blood drive is run by the United Blood Services, it is just being held at the school.
“People are apprehensive about needles and what could go wrong,” said Amma Sarkodee-Adoo, a STUGO member.

Another reason the turn-out hasn’t been high so far is that people are simply forgetting to turn in the donor permit, Sarkodee-Adoo said.
Donating blood saves up to three lives, according to the United Blood Services.
