While struggling to adjust to this new way of life, Jackie grows feelings for two of Katherine’s sons, Cole and Alex who are played by Noah LaLonde and Ashbyn Gentry. Leaving fans on the edge of their seats, the first season ends with Jackie torn between the two brothers, and everyone wondering what she will do next.
The first season followed the introduction of Jackie to the Walter family, the start of a love triangle, and everyone finding a new normal. On the other hand, season two brings new challenges and hope for the future. The actors remain the same, and few new characters are introduced in this new season.
The second season of the television series follows the start of a new school year and vast character development of one of the main characters, Alex. The season is focused on the love triangle between Jackie, Alex, and Cole, while also tuning into the family dynamics. This new season follows the return of Jackie to Silver Falls, Cole coaching football, and Alex pursuing his rodeo dreams. Everyone has something they need to focus on, but when it comes to love, it seems to make for bumps in the road.
The overall purpose of My Life With The Walter Boys is to shed light on the grief, healing, personal growth, and found family of a young teenage girl. Characters in the show welcome Jackie and help her through so many things while grieving the death of her family. When there are hard times and problems between characters, they always find peace and remember they are a family.
