Patricia Devito, a new language arts teacher speaks to the class about their assignment. “I am looking forward to teaching sophomores and juniors and having the opportunity to work with other educators,” Devito said.
She has been teaching language arts for 14 years and she loves getting students excited about learning.
“I really like the students, the energy, and the programs [at OHS]” Devito said.
Devito wanted to be a teacher since she was seven years old and she still enjoys it today.
“I feel like I’m giving back something,” Devito said. “Kids will say ‘Ms. Devito taught me that.’”
