This year the OHS boys’ varsity volleyball team is hoping to end their season by winning state.

Varsity player, Ian Fields, said that they are still trying to find the identity of the team.

The team began the season by beating Barry Goldwater on March 3 and continued on to win three more games against Mountain Pointe, Boulder Creek, and Sunrise Mountain.

Their goals, this year are to make each member a better player.

Caelan  Huffman, junior, said he wants to focus on the new varsity players.

However, other players hope to contribute in other ways for the team.

“I hope to contribute a positive attitude, good leadership, and a competitive atmosphere where we can win,” said Corvin Walker, senior.
