Wednesday night the OHS JV football team lost to the Valley Vista Monsoon 14-19, dropping the Eagles to a record of 0-5. However, the team still has plenty of time to bounce back.

In the first half, Valley Vista pulled ahead with a score of 0-13, but the Eagles made a comeback. They scored two touchdowns, including a punt return touchdown by Connor Bell, pulling ahead 14-13.

In the end, it was not enough and Valley Vista took home the win 14-19.

“We put it all on the field last night and did we best we could,” said Dylan Vitale sophomore quarterback.

The next JV home game is Oct. 9 against Pinnacle.
