Through the desert heat, approximately 24 groups walked two miles for the annual homecoming parade yesterday morning.

The theme for this year was Circus OC, which involved clowns, acrobats and every thing you could find under the big tent here at OHS.

“The parade was the most amazing one I’ve seen so far. Everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be, and that’s all thanks to our Stugo member Rachel Abraham,” said Jen Galbreath, OHS Stugo advisor.

The parade was lead by JROTC and followed by the OHS marching band.

As many people may have noticed, the Arizona heat did not let up for the parade.

“I thought it was very hot and very long but it was fun,” said Amanda Isfan, freshman.

Aniah Johnson, senior, had a bad experience with dehydration and overheating that resulted in a trip to Urgent Care. However she still thought the events were cute despite the poor orchestration.

This year’s homecoming theme of Circus OC was hot in multiple ways.
